New Details About Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Revealed
The remake will add six hours of new content including missions and crew recruitment activities, alongside technical improvements like PS5 Pro support with PSSR 2 technology.
Even before it was officially revealed, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced had already captured the hearts of players and taken the internet by storm. The remake's reveal was everything fans of the original game could have asked for, and it seems nearly the entire internet is very excited about the July 9th launch. Now we're getting some more new details about the game, with an emphasis on the improvements and innovations it received compared to the original version.
Already at the reveal event, Ubisoft said that alongside the game's classic campaign which will take around 40 hours, Black Flag Resynced will give players new content, though the exact amount wasn't fully known. Now the game's director, Richard Knight, has said that the remake will add about six hours of additional content spread across new missions, officer recruitment missions for the ship, and other activities added to the world. Along with the new content, we'll also get quite a few technical improvements, including a dedicated version for the PS5 Pro. The enhanced version will support Sony's PSSR 2 technology, which will give the game improved graphics alongside better and smoother performance. That said, we didn't receive concrete information about the frame rate or resolution we can expect.
As part of the game's marketing campaign, a "find the treasure" activity was also announced, where the winner will receive a prize worth half a million dollars in the form of a chest filled with gold coins and a crystal skull encrusted with gemstones. Anyone who wants to participate in the treasure hunt can do so by purchasing a package from Unsolved Hunts and solving 15 puzzles that will give the exact location where the treasure is buried in the Caribbean islands. The hunt for the buried treasure will begin on November 9th.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will launch on July 9th for PC and current-gen consoles.
