About GamerForge
Independent gaming journalism since 2026
GamerForge is an independent gaming news and reviews publication built for people who take their games seriously. From day-one reviews and breaking news to long-form features and hardware deep-dives - if it matters in gaming, it's here.
We launched in 2026 with one goal: to cut through the noise and deliver gaming coverage that's honest, timely, and written by people who actually play. No PR fluff, no sponsored opinions, no corporate agenda.
What We Cover
GamerForge covers the full spectrum of gaming:

- Reviews - In-depth, scored reviews of the latest games, written after meaningful playtime on final retail builds. We don't rush - we play it properly first.
- Features - Opinion pieces, retrospectives, developer spotlights, and deeper dives into the games and stories that matter.
- Hardware - Coverage of consoles, peripherals, and PC hardware from a gamer's perspective.

Our Reviews Policy
Every review on GamerForge is written after completing or substantially playing the final retail version of the game - not preview builds, not early access snapshots. We score games on a 0–10 scale, with half-point increments, based on our honest assessment of the overall experience.
What our scores mean:
- 9–10: Outstanding. A must-play. Among the best in its genre.
- 7–8: Good to great. Recommended with minor reservations.
- 5–6: Mixed. Has merit, but notable flaws hold it back.
- 3–4: Below average. Hard to recommend in its current state.
- 0–2: Poor. Fundamentally broken or without redeeming value.
We never accept payment, gifts, or sponsored coverage in exchange for review scores or positive coverage of any kind. Review copies provided by publishers do not influence our scores.
Editorial Independence
GamerForge operates with full editorial independence. Our coverage decisions, review scores, and editorial stances are never influenced by advertisers, publishers, or any commercial relationships. If we think a game is bad, we say so. If we think it's great, we say that too - because we played it and formed our own opinion, not because someone asked us to.
Community
GamerForge isn't just a publication - it's a community. Registered readers can leave comments on articles, share reactions, and discuss the games they love (or don't). We believe the best gaming conversations happen between people who are actually playing. Create a free account to join in.
